Faith over Fear bc Christ crushes cancer’s curse through the power of prayer!

From a faithful friend

Dave dropped me off at 9

Chemo infusion went seemless with 2 wonderful nurses and a sweet conversation with my new chemo pal, Beverly!
Dave picked me up at 12:30, we grabbed lunch, came home, had a great day getting stuff done, a houseful of boys (mine and friends) swimming, working out, biking, shooting hoops, eating nonstop and hanging out! I LOVED IT! I biked over to a couple friends houses express my big love & gratitude to them & to God for them, for home with 2 minutes to get ready for my red-hot Rona Rendevous with my sexy boy (my hot hubby😘), but had to make it 10 to give my sweet niece some big love and a big squeeze! Finally hitting the hay after helping Brody, my middle son, finish up his Spanish and biology finals (both my fields but Dave actually was his strength with words to him phrase his essay part, which freed me up to do a little “telehealth” via texting with a dear friend whose daughter badly burned her hand, poor thing!

Day 1 of Round 2: a win for me!...bc of your faithful prayers to our all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing God, my Lord and Savior (from WAY more than this earthly trial! More on that later...)

friend,

From my amazing Aunt Evie

From my spectacular sister!

God is Good!

Well I’m finally back. I have written SO many mental posts with updates and what’s God been teaching me!! Then when I finally get a minute to actually take them out of my mind and onto the screen, my mind bottlenecks and gets overwhelmed with all I want & need to write...it exhausts me & I end up concluding that I’m too tired and don’t have time to transcribe all that’s in my mind onto digital paper. But as I sit here alone at the Denver airport on a long layover en route to Atlanta to celebrate my sisters 50th, I’m starting! We both have September birthdays, hers being on the 10th. We decided to save the celebrating til my chemo was complete, hence the delayed timing of the trip. My younger sister who lives here in Colorado is on her way to meet me and we’ll fly this leg if the trip together! And my parents are traveling from Michigan to meet us as well! How crazy (& sad!) that we are all spread out across the country, coast to coast, north to south- we are so close r...

Song in my Soul

Song in my Soul by Phil Wickham A dear friend sent this to me with her daily encouragement & prayer...I loved it from the first time I heard it! I hope you will too! There's a song in my soul ( how music goes deep into the core of who we are!) And I feel it stirring in me ( springing up from the well of His Word to satisfy the thirsty, he who drinks the Living Water will never thirst again!) This I know for sure ( faith is the assurance of what we know but don’t see) That Your love is like a flood ( washing & washing over me ! And Your mercy never ending ( “ The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬)  I give my song to You ( “ Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants...Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastl...
