“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
Lamentations 3:21-26
Getting ready for my second go-around with the “Red Devil” tomorrow at 9am! I’m prepared and ready for the fight!..and Plan to win Round 2 too! God has been with me every step and will continue to go before me & with me, He hems me in with His presence! (Psalm 139)
So thankful that I have felt great this past “in between” week, blood counts were good and minimal to no side effects....Got to fully enjoy and appreciate the time (they were SO SO helpful and fun!) with my parents before they headed back home to Michigan last Friday.
Since then I had a productive week at home and have had FUN dates with my boys- Sunset SUPing with Brody, my 15 yo, and a walk/take out brunch with Kaleb, 17yo, both in Dana Point Harbor and both accompanied by our four-legged, furry family member! Luke, I still owe you a bike date! Hot “post-poison” date with my main man planned tomorrow night! Love my boys!
The one side effect at started today...my hair started to come out in clumps! I’ve known it was coming but it was a little emotional when I kept getting handfuls. It’s one thing to know in my head it’s an inevitable reality, it’s another when it becomes a reality on head! Sassy scarves, here I come! My love, your Bald Beauty (I hope that’s how you’ll see me!) arriving soon! Beyond grateful to know your love for me goes deeper than my hair follicles! “For better or for ‘baldness’” you promised, right?!
