So grateful for the love & support of amazing friends!!

So appreciate all your care & prayer💞 I truly do have a peace that passes understanding. This diagnosis might be big, but our God is bigger! Our great God is good so I am too bc I can trust an unknown future to our known God!
I trust Gods got big plans to grow us all in/through this- in my knowledge of, love for, trust in, obedience to & relationship WITH Him!! As He already faithfully has been! I’m weirdly eagerly anticipating watching
Him unfold my story that He’s writing whatever that holds. First & foremost praying that His will be done & I want to be at the center of it! The only safe place to be in a storm is in the eye! I’m seeing how He’s prepared me to patiently faithfully endure even when it gets long & grueling through all the marathons & endurance/challenge races I’ve done (funny how He works!)

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom...Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90:12, 14‬
We all know we’re not guaranteed tomorrow but this helps you really live like it!

God is Good!

Well I’m finally back. I have written SO many mental posts with updates and what’s God been teaching me!! Then when I finally get a minute to actually take them out of my mind and onto the screen, my mind bottlenecks and gets overwhelmed with all I want & need to write...it exhausts me & I end up concluding that I’m too tired and don’t have time to transcribe all that’s in my mind onto digital paper. But as I sit here alone at the Denver airport on a long layover en route to Atlanta to celebrate my sisters 50th, I’m starting! We both have September birthdays, hers being on the 10th. We decided to save the celebrating til my chemo was complete, hence the delayed timing of the trip. My younger sister who lives here in Colorado is on her way to meet me and we’ll fly this leg if the trip together! And my parents are traveling from Michigan to meet us as well! How crazy (& sad!) that we are all spread out across the country, coast to coast, north to south- we are so close r...

Song in my Soul

Song in my Soul by Phil Wickham A dear friend sent this to me with her daily encouragement & prayer...I loved it from the first time I heard it! I hope you will too! There's a song in my soul ( how music goes deep into the core of who we are!) And I feel it stirring in me ( springing up from the well of His Word to satisfy the thirsty, he who drinks the Living Water will never thirst again!) This I know for sure ( faith is the assurance of what we know but don’t see) That Your love is like a flood ( washing & washing over me ! And Your mercy never ending ( “ The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬)  I give my song to You ( “ Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants...Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastl...
