Missionary Monday: Krull Family 8/24

                 The kool Kazakhstan Krull Family-

Dan, Dina, Jack, Levi, Krissy & Ellie

Dave first met Dina back at their days at UCSB. These college kids were young, having fun and getting serious about their faith in & relationship with Jesus Christ, their Lord & Savior.  So they decided to get involved in Campus Crusade for Christ. That’s where Dina met Dan, a leader in the campus club...& as they say the rest is history. That is they’ve been making history ever since all across the globe for Gods glory & others’ good! As newlyweds they headed over to Eastern Europe to serve & minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people there. They did that faithfully & effectively while raising 4 children along the way for over 15 years      They continue to fulfill the Great Commission, given to us all by Jesus Himself with “all authority in heaven and on earth (to) Go & make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you (confidently knowing He is) with (us) always, to the end of the age.”” Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭all over the continent across the Atlantic as well as our own country. They’ve invested deeply & personally to make not just converts but disciples of Christ, helping new believers grow & get grounded in their faith by mentoring, & supporting them practically in business ventures. Moving back to the States when their oldest child was entering high school, they continued their work on both sides of the pond. They frequently travel back to Europe and keep in constant contact virtually. Locally this fun, vibrant, knowledgeable, wise couple has invested in campus ministry at CalPoly SLO, young couples at their church, neighbors, fellow parents, teammates (on her tennis team), etc!! Whew! I’m exhausted just thinking about all they do & how well they do it!

And they’ve recorded their adventures & the lessons God has taught them over the years through the bumps, turns, challenges & victories in an entertaining, candid & refreshing way!

We just had the precious privilege of getting to spend a few sweet hours with them as they passed through Orange County so I thought it was the perfect Monday to highlight them!

God is Good!

Well I’m finally back. I have written SO many mental posts with updates and what’s God been teaching me!! Then when I finally get a minute to actually take them out of my mind and onto the screen, my mind bottlenecks and gets overwhelmed with all I want & need to write...it exhausts me & I end up concluding that I’m too tired and don’t have time to transcribe all that’s in my mind onto digital paper. But as I sit here alone at the Denver airport on a long layover en route to Atlanta to celebrate my sisters 50th, I’m starting! We both have September birthdays, hers being on the 10th. We decided to save the celebrating til my chemo was complete, hence the delayed timing of the trip. My younger sister who lives here in Colorado is on her way to meet me and we’ll fly this leg if the trip together! And my parents are traveling from Michigan to meet us as well! How crazy (& sad!) that we are all spread out across the country, coast to coast, north to south- we are so close r...

Song in my Soul

Song in my Soul by Phil Wickham A dear friend sent this to me with her daily encouragement & prayer...I loved it from the first time I heard it! I hope you will too! There's a song in my soul ( how music goes deep into the core of who we are!) And I feel it stirring in me ( springing up from the well of His Word to satisfy the thirsty, he who drinks the Living Water will never thirst again!) This I know for sure ( faith is the assurance of what we know but don’t see) That Your love is like a flood ( washing & washing over me ! And Your mercy never ending ( “ The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬)  I give my song to You ( “ Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants...Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastl...
