Sometimes on this journey
I get lost in my mistakes (too many times!)
What looks to me like weakness
Is a canvas for your strength
Is a canvas for your strength
(PTL things are not as they appear to me as they are in my Father’s House, my home forever! “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 )
And my story isn't over (Not til He completes it!)
My story's just begun (the Author of my very life, physically & spiritually, is writing it!)
And failure won't define me (so I won’t let it either)
'Cause that's what my Father does (He’s says I’m His, a child of the King)
Yeah, failure won't define me (“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
'Cause that's what my Father does (“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” Romans 8:14-17)

Ooh, lay your burdens down (glad to! I can’t bear them on my own! “cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7)
Ooh, here in the Father's house (my home forever!)
Check your shame at the door (“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2
'Cause it ain't welcome anymore (Not in His home!)
Ooh, you're in the Father's house (“Praise the Lord! give praise, O servants of the Lord, who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God!” Psalm 135:1-2)

Arrival's not the end game (“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18)
You just wanted my heart (“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’”
If the story isn't good (“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11)
And failure's never final (“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 )
When the Father's in the room (He’s going to make all things new...& without imperfection!)
The journey's where you are (“declares the Lord. “Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand” Jeremiah 18:6)

Prodigals come home (“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.” Luke 15:20 )
The helpless find hope (“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13)
Love is on the move
When the Father's in the room
Prison doors fling wide (“The Lord sets the prisoners free;” Psalm 146:7, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36)

The dead come to life (“even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—” Ephesians 2:5 )
Love is on the move (we love bc He first loved us!)
When the Father's in the room
Miracles take place (as His mighty hand performs them!)
The cynical find faith (“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8 )
And love is breaking through (& His love conquers all!)

The Jericho walls are quaking
Strongholds now are shaking (How God can break down the walls in our heart & the obstacles in our world)
Love is breaking through
When the Father's in the room
(Amen!!)
